Our vision
We're not just a marketplace. We're building the infrastructure for the next generation of creative ownership at global scale.
150+ countries. Millions of buyers. Your photos reach audiences worldwide with zero extra effort.
Every license is recorded and verifiable. Buyers know exactly what they own. Creators know exactly what they sold.
Photography is a profession, not a hobby. We're building the infrastructure for sustainable creative income.
SellShot Pro takes a small commission for payment processing. All terms are transparent — you always know how much you'll get.
Payout timing depends on Stripe, your bank, and the country where your bank account is located. After a sale, funds are processed and become available for payout according to Stripe's schedule. In most cases, subsequent payouts are available within a few business days (1-5), while the first payout may take longer.
No. You can sell photos taken with any device, including your smartphone. However, clear, original, and well-framed images stand out much faster, attracting more buyers and commanding higher prices.
Set a fair and competitive price based on your photo's resolution, technical quality, uniqueness, commercial value, and license type.
Lower-resolution images should generally be priced lower. For example, a 960 × 1280 px photo may be more suitable for a Standard License price of around $1 or less.
Higher-resolution, professionally captured images can justify a higher price. For example, a high-quality 4000 × 6000 px photo suitable for professional or commercial use could reasonably be priced at around $5–$15 or more for a Standard License, depending on its quality, uniqueness, and commercial potential.
With a Standard License, the buyer receives the right to use the photo under the applicable license terms, while you retain ownership and can continue licensing the same photo to other buyers. This means one photo can potentially generate multiple sales.
An Exclusive License should normally be priced significantly higher. Once sold exclusively, the image can no longer be offered for new licenses to other buyers where this would conflict with the buyer's exclusive rights. For example, an image offered for $10 under a Standard License might reasonably be priced at $50, $100, or more under an Exclusive License, depending on its uniqueness and commercial value.
These prices are examples only. You remain in control of your pricing.
Think of Standard pricing as the value of one license, and Exclusive pricing as the value of giving up potential future licensing opportunities for that image.
