2. Use of Your Personal Information
We use the personal, contributor, and technical information we collect for explicit, legitimate, and specified business purposes. Your data is used exclusively to power the SellshotPro platform, deliver our services, and maintain a secure and optimized environment for both creators and buyers.
Specific Purposes for Data Processing
- Authentication and Access: To enable you to create an account, securely log in, verify your identity, and maintain your access to the SellshotPro platform.
- Platform Functionality and Account Administration: To manage your account, display your profile information, track your platform status (such as registration date, Buyer Tier, or Creator Tier), and properly display and manage the content you upload (photographs, titles, descriptions, tags, and categories).
- Service Communications: To send you essential platform notifications, such as order receipts, subscription or renewal confirmations, system updates, and security alerts.

3. Data Storage, Security, and Retention
Security Measures
We take the security of your personal data, uploaded content, and technical information seriously. SellshotPro implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration:
- Encryption in Transit & Storage: All user passwords are encrypted using strong, modern cryptographic hashing algorithms before being stored. All data transmitted between your browser and the SellshotPro platform is encrypted in transit using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS) technology.
- Secure Infrastructure: Personal information, account metadata, and platform statistics reside on secured, password-protected servers. Access to this data is strictly limited to authorized SellshotPro staff and contractors who require it to perform their duties and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Third-Party Payment Security: Any sensitive financial data (such as credit card numbers or banking credentials required for transactions and payouts) is transmitted directly and securely via TLS to our payment processor, Stripe. SellshotPro never stores or handles this sensitive data on its own infrastructure.
- User Responsibility: Access to your account is protected by your chosen password. You are solely responsible for keeping your password confidential and using a strong, unique combination of characters.
- Security Disclaimer: While we deploy rigorous, industry-standard protective measures, no method of electronic transmission over the internet or method of digital storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to protect your data, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Data Retention and Portability
We do not retain your personal data longer than is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, as outlined below:
- Account Lifecycle: We retain your account credentials, profile details, upload logs, and platform stats (Buyer/Creator Tiers, Joined date) for as long as your SellshotPro account remains active, or as needed to provide you with access to our services.
- License Verification and Enforcement: Transaction logs, purchase histories, and creator upload records may be retained even after account deactivation or closure. This is strictly necessary to maintain the integrity of our digital marketplace, verify and enforce content licensing rights, and track financial distributions.
- Legal and Regulatory Compliance: We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal, accounting, and tax obligations, resolve ongoing disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
4. Third-Party Sharing
We value your privacy and operate under a strict policy regarding how your data is shared. SellshotPro does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, uploaded content, or platform statistics to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
We only share the minimum necessary information with trusted third-party service providers, vendors, and agents who work on our behalf to help us operate the platform and deliver our services.
Authorized Third-Party Service Providers
- Payment Processors (Stripe): To facilitate secure purchases, subscriptions, and creator payouts, necessary transaction data is shared with our third-party payment gateway, Stripe. To our knowledge and based on their security standards, these processors do not store, retain, disclose, or use your personal data or financial credentials for any secondary purposes outside of executing your requested transactions.
- Infrastructure and Service Delivery Vendors: We may share limited technical and account data with specialized service companies that provide essential infrastructure for SellshotPro. This includes cloud hosting providers, secure data storage servers, and automated email delivery services used to send your order confirmations or support responses.
- Strict Operational Boundaries: Any partner or vendor working on our behalf is granted access only to the specific data strictly required to perform their specialized function. They are legally or contractually obligated to protect your information and are prohibited from using it for any other purpose.
Other Sharing Scenarios
Your information will only be shared outside of the operational boundaries mentioned above in the event of a mandatory legal request, subpoena, or corporate restructuring (such as a merger or asset sale), as detailed in Section 2 (Legal Disclosures) of this Policy.
5. User Rights and Choices
We believe you should have full control over your personal information. Depending on your location (including the European Union under the GDPR), you possess specific legal rights regarding how your data is collected, processed, and stored on SellshotPro.

- Right to Object: You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for specific purposes, such as direct marketing or analytics based on legitimate interests.
- Right to Restriction: You can request that we restrict the processing of your personal data under certain circumstances (e.g., if you contest the accuracy of the data or object to its processing, while we verify your request).
- Right to Data Portability: You have the right to request a digital, structured, and commonly used transfer of your personal data, allowing you to move your information to another service provider.
